Salesforce Quality Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Quality Engineer with expertise in Provar automation to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications through effective testing, automation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define test objectives, scope, and methodologies for Salesforce projects. Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and data sets.
2. Test Automation: Utilize Provar, a leading Salesforce test automation tool, to create and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications. Automate regression, functional, and integration tests to ensure seamless application performance.
3. Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts and manual tests to assess Salesforce applications for functionality, performance, and security. Identify defects, report issues, and work closely with developers for timely resolution.
4. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to confirm that recent enhancements or upgrades do not negatively impact existing Salesforce functionality.
5. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and procedures. Update and expand test scripts and data as necessary to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
6. Quality Assurance: Ensure Salesforce applications meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and adhere to industry best practices for excellence.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Salesforce upgrades, Provar features, and testing techniques. Recommend process changes to enhance testing productivity and effectiveness.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and project managers to guarantee clear understanding of requirements and project objectives.
9. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability, response times, and resource utilization.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Quality Engineer with a focus on Provar automation is essential.
• Salesforce administrator or developer certification is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CRM, deployment, customization, and integration is required.
• Proficiency in Provar test automation tools or similar Salesforce testing automation tools is mandatory.
