We are seeking a talented Writer/Editor who is passionate about the internet, stays updated with trends, and can produce high-quality content efficiently.

This role requires adaptability as you will work on various content styles and ad copy.

Responsibilities:

Pitching innovative story ideas to captivate our target audience across multiple brands.
Creating highquality article content that entertains, informs, and inspires readers.
Crafting compelling Facebook Ad Copy to support our Media Buying Operation's objectives.
Writing attentiongrabbing headlines that drive clicks and engagement.
Managing content scheduling on social media platforms and websites to ensure timely publication.
Upholding quality standards and brand guidelines across all published content.
Designing eyecatching creatives (thumbnails) to enhance content distribution and visibility.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, media, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in writing and editing.
Proficiency in proofreading, editing, and copywriting, with an emphasis on attention to detail and clarity.
Exceptional critical thinking and problemsolving abilities to tackle content challenges creatively.
Experience working with WordPress to publish and manage online content efficiently.
Familiarity with SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve discoverability.
Adobe Photoshop skills for creating visually appealing graphics and thumbnails.
Indepth understanding of internet and social media trends, enabling you to stay ahead of the curve.
Advanced knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat, with a focus on leveraging each platform's unique features for content distribution.

You would be required to work at our offices in Woodmead, Sandton and you would be
required to work American hours (2pm - 11pm).

It is important to note that this is not a work from home position.

Salary:
R22, 500.00
