MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE


In line with Adumo's purpose; to be a catalyst for Growth: Grow our customers, grow our communities, grow our continent and ultimately grow our people The Office Based Accounts Manager role encompasses this purpose in its entirety.

As an Office Based Account Manager your are responsible for managing a portfolio of Key Accounts in Adumo.

Responsible for establishing & maintaining loyal customer relationships with the intention increasing Customer Lifetime Value through implementing effective key account strategies.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Sales, marketing and industry knowledge

  • Retail and payments industry experience would be an advantage
  • PCI regulations and understanding would be an advantage

REQUIRED:
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION


Minimum

  • Matric (NQF Level 4)
  • Relevant Diploma
  • Business / General Management qualification (NQF Level 6)
  • 5 years' experience working in a corporate sales environment
  • Experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Intermediate knowledge of internet usage
  • FICA training/experience advantageous

Desired

  • B Com Business Administration (NQF Level 7)
  • 5 years' experience working in a corporate sales environment
  • Experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Intermediate knowledge of internet usage
  • FICA training/experience advantageous

Ideal

  • BCom Honours Business Administration (NQF Level 8)
  • 5 years' experience working in a corporate sales environment
  • Experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Intermediate knowledge of internet usage
  • FICA training/experience advantageous

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Customer Relationship Management

  • Responsible for establishing & maintaining loyal customer relationships with the intention of increasing Customer Lifetime Value and Reducing Churn through implementing effective key account strategies
  • Effectively manages adumo's interfaces with key accounts to ensure that the account is being serviced in an efficient and integrated way
  • Proactively seeks and actions new opportunities in own area to develop the business commercially
  • Solves problems independently. Breaks complex issues into manageable parts & recommends steps to resolve the problem.
  • Planning, Measuring & Monitoring the Financial Performance of the Business

Customer Value Proposition

  • Able to use the most appropriate propositions to maximise value to company

Market Awareness

  • Understands market dynamics and relevance to business

Commercial Acumen

  • Able to analyse prospects, deals and put forward proposals that enables Adumo to maximise the potential for that particular deal
  • Creates a winwin solution based on understanding of business objectives and customer needs
