WEIGHBRIDGE CONTROLLER

Ref:

Location:
Prospecton, Durban
Provide support with all weigh bridge functions and associated data capturing


Salary:
R R11 000 p/m

Main Duties include:


  • Control all dispatch and receiving documentation on a daily basis
  • Control and oversee all security CDs/tapes and report any related problems
  • Recording of all inbound & outbound tickets on a daily log sheet
  • Report any weight or commodity discrepancies immediately
  • Conduct regular vehicleonweighbridge checks for signs of un
- roadworthiness

  • Consolidate weight in and out reports as required
  • Conduct daily audit on inbound and outbound tickets
  • Ensure inbound book details are recorded correctly by driver
  • Identify all commodities and confirm actual grading of commodity
  • Assist with all Metro Filing
  • Switchboard duties and any adhoc duties requested by management

Criteria:


  • Matric
  • 2+ years Experience in Weighbridge system
  • Industry knowledge (Scrap and Weighbridge)
  • Basic computer literacy

Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 4-6 months


Salary:
R10, R11,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Prospecton, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • High School (matric) (required)

Experience:


  • Weighbridge system: 2 years (required)
  • Industry knowledge (Scrap and Weighbridge)
: 2 years (preferred)
