Admin Assistant French - Cape Town, South Africa - Continuum Personnel Services
Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Act as a liaison between Frenchspeaking clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of inquiries.
- Maintain and update company databases and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for team members, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
- Assist with project coordination and tracking, including monitoring deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries in French, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Support HR functions such as onboarding new employees, processing paperwork, and maintaining personnel records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve administrative processes and efficiency within the organization.
- Perform other ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Fluent in French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and/or any other languages is a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a multinational or European environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- Knowledge of French business culture and etiquette is desirable.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Experience:
- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 3 years (required)
- French: 3 years (required)
