    We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate individual to join our team as a Senior Safari Reservations Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guest relations, promotion, and inbound tourism, with a minimum of 5 years of experience at a senior level.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for making high-end safari reservations and providing exceptional customer service
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote and grow the business
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
    • Provide detailed information and support to clients on various tour options
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of new marketing initiatives
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks and projects

    Requirements

    Candidate Qualifications

    • Matric is essential and a further qualification in travel and tourism is a significant advantage
    • Minimum of 5 years of high-end safari reservations experience at a senior level
    • Real passion for wildlife and conservation, along with a commitment to sustainability
    • Excellent communication skills in English
    • Ability to speak a foreign language is a big bonus
    • Background in guest relations, promotion, and inbound tourism
    • Well-travelled in Southern and Eastern Africa, both personally and professionally
    • Ability to engage with diverse groups of people with ease
    • Professional presentation and excellent administrative skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office and TourPlan
    • Highly organized, creative, and consistent in work
    • Natural problem solver with attention to detail
    • Confident, outgoing, positive, and energetic personality
    • Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
    • Always willing to go the extra mile

    Working Hours

    The team typically works 5 hours during the week and 15 hours during the weekend, within the following scheduled hours:

    • Working week: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
    • Weekend and Public Holidays: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM
