SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Utilities Administrator will be responsible for providing support to ensure that the utility recoveries are accurate and dealing with any enquiries or incorrect rates with relevant municipalities.
Someone who pays keen attention to detail your every day will include reviewing utility management performance reporting for each property, ensuring regular updates of electricity, solar and water usage, assisting the Park Manager with technical query resolution, ensuring the accuracy of reconciliations and reviewing budgets and forecasts to ensure they are correct to tariff increases applied.
It is mandatory that you have experience liaising with meter reading service providers and the ability to do recovery calculations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review Utility recovery ratios per property to ensure they are accurate
- Handle any Municipality queries to ensure Recovery ratios are accurate for billings
- Manage performance reporting per property and report any trends
- Ensure updates of electricity, water usage and Solar are accurately recovered and reconciled
- Supporting Property Finance Administrators with any technical query resolution
It is important to note that the person in this position must have at least - 5 years of experience dealing with Gauteng Municipalities around utilities as well as meter reading service providers.
Experience:
- dealing with Municipalities' around Utilities: 2 years (required)
- Utilities both Solar and Electricity: 2 years (required)
- Meter reading: 2 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Drivers Licence (preferred)
