Description

A well-established water treatment solutions company in Johannesburg, has a permanent position available for an Engineering Technician based in Jetpark (Gauteng). This position will require a minimum of 1 years (post trade qualification) and relevant experience. The Engineering Technician
will be responsible to assist with technical support and must have worked with water treatment equipment and meet the physical requirements of the job.

Requirements:

Matric (Gr12)
Fitter or Mechanician qualification
Must have minimum 1 year's water treatment site experience.
Must have worked with water treatment equipment
Valid Drivers license
Advanced MS Office and Excel skills
Expert communication and interpersonal skills
Exercise a high degree of selfdiscipline and confidentiality.
Demonstrative initiative
A clear credit and criminal record are a prerequisite for employment

Duties:

Ordering equipment.
Preassembling of equipment if and when required.
Travel extensively to various sites for installations.
Commission and maintain the various pieces of equipment used.
Interpret the results and adjust equipment if and when required.
Communicate with line manager.
Maintain all SHEQ requirements.
Always represent the company in a professional way.
