    Description

    Job Title: Tax Consultant

    A skilled and experienced Tax Consultant is required to provide tax consultation services in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of South African tax laws and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
    2. Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
    3. Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
    4. Identify tax savings opportunities for clients
    5. Assist clients with tax audits and other tax-related issues
    6. Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    2. Certified Tax Practitioner (CTP) qualification preferred
    3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tax Consultant
    4. Strong knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations
    5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    6. Strong communication and presentation skills

    Tax Consultants will work closely with clients to understand their tax needs and develop tailored tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize savings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to clients.

    Deliverables:

    1. Comprehensive tax plans and recommendations
    2. Accurate and timely tax returns preparation and submission
    3. Regular tax research and updates on changes to tax laws and regulations
    4. Effective communication and presentation of tax information to clients
