Key Performance Areas:

Maintain and develop very close relationships with assigned client portfolio across all divisions
Maintain internal relationships
New business development and growth on existing client portfolio through onselling strategy
Retain and grow clients via regular visits and engagement (Minimum 10 physical client visits per week)
Scheduled visits to Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum clients in line with regularity specified
Develop strategies in conjunction with assigned client portfolio to add value to their supply chain
Implement the account with all divisions / departments
Coordinate internal and client meetings across divisions
Recording of minutes of meetings (MOM)
Recording of client physical visits in CRM System
Speediness of query resolution and feedback
Prepare presentations, proposals, and contracts for clients
Annual Rate increases & adhoc rate negotiations with your customers
Analyse client shipment data to identify trends, variances in volume, areas of concern, areas of improvement in efficiencies for weekly / monthly client discussions
Perform the duties allocated to you by the KAM HOD as well as any further requirements the Client may have of you
You will be required to perform the job to a certain standard of performance, details of which may be discussed with you from time to time
You will naturally be required to perform the job competently, efficiently, diligently, and skilfully

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required:

Matric
Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics Air and Sea imports and exports would be advantageous
Valid driver's license and own vehicle
Strong Negotiations Skills
Minimum 67 years Key Account Manager / Strategic Account Manager experience
Operations experience in Logistics and Transport industry especially air and Sea freight imports/exports forwarding and clearing
