Job Description:

Are you a Product Owner who is looking to work on meaningful products within a high growth fintech company? If you are up for the challenge and have the experience and skills to add value, we want to hear from you

So, what will you do?
Responsible for creating and enabling environment to drive performance and employee engagement across the respective divisions.

This is achieved by partnering with management and employees to define and implement relevant and appropriate plans to improve individual, team and business effectiveness.

The deal breakers:

5 years' experience in a Product Owner / Product Manager, Software Delivery Manager role or equivalent role.
5 years' experience in managing direct reports.
5 years experience working in an Agile framework.
Experience with customer data analytics and running datadriven product experiments including A/B testing.
Experience with UX/UI design, research, testing and validation.
Experience with performance marketing (advantageous).
Experience in the financial services industry (advantageous).

Additional skills and experience:

Agile Kanban and Scrum.
SDLC.
JIRA or equivalent tool.
Braze or equivalent tool (advantageous).

- mParticle or equivalent tool (advantageous).
- mixPanel or equivalent tool (advantageous).

Business understanding:

Customer needs and key purchase criteria.
Customer support and backoffice operations.
Product research and design.
Software engineering.
Software testing and quality assurance.
Software delivery.
Software compliance.
Fraud and risk management.
Performance marketing.
Financial drivers of a company's P&L.
Team performance management.
Team learning and development.

What would you be responsible for?

Plan, prioritise and deliver achievable projects against vision and strategy.
Responsible for defining the work of engineers and designers in delivering a technology product.
Identify opportunities for continuous product improvement.
Able to clearly define and communicate project goals, requirements, and constraints across cross functional teams in the business.
Participate in regular Scrum ceremonies.
Owns and is responsible for the creation, management, and prioritisation of the Product Backlog, in close cooperation with stakeholders.
Create user stories and acceptance criteria for all backlog items.
Ensure the product backlog is visible, transparent and shows what the Scrum team/s will work on next.
Accepting the delivered product increment at the end of each iteration.
Managing the release plan with scrum team/s.
Support and collaborate with the product UX/UI team, product scrum team/s and product leaders on a daytoday basis.
Identification of constraints and dependencies in cooperation with the Scrum Master and proposal for resolution and improvement.

Qualifications:

A related tertiary education qualification would be advantageous.
Product Owner Certification (advantageous).
