Install and assemble machinery parts according to technical specifications sand casting foundry and CNC machine shop environment conduct regular scheduled maintenance repair mechanical machinery components ensure efficient operation read interpret technical blueprints plans understand machine specifications diagnosing mechanical issues determining best repair methods maintaining detailed records maintenance tasks repairs quality control assurance complete quality checks ensuring inspections performed as required implementing enforcing safety protocols ensuring compliance Occupational Health Safety OHS machinery maintenance troubleshooting conducting overseeing junior maintenance assistant activities routine inspections repairs troubleshooting Foundry equipment CNC machines ensuring machines function optimally minimizing downtime maximizing productivity actively collaborating Managers peers ensuring clear understanding tasks day maintaining positive work environment being custodian stock consumables used maintenance practices actively looking opportunities drive down operational expenditure escalating potential maintenance requirements management any other reasonable request management
- Relevant trade qualification Fitter Millwright preferable - or alternatively accepted by
- management
- Proficiency reading blueprints technical drawings
- MICROSOFT OFFICE INTERMEDIATE
- Valid drivers license
- Preferably between 5-7 years experience similar role
