Role Purpose

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' Azure experience and 5 years' relevant enterprise IT experience
Azure Certification and training
Sound knowledge of immutable infrastructure and infrastructure as code concepts
Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technical professionals.
Have a solid understanding and practical experience of automation and DevOps practices such as CI/CD and IaC.
Ansible (preferred)
Terraform (preferred)
Understanding of Software Development (preferred)
Azure expertise (essential)
AWS working knowledge (essential)

Scripting languages

Json, PowerShell, and python (essential)

DevOps toolsets

Jenkins, arm templates (essential)

Duties & Responsibilities

Occasionally facilitate and sometimes lead the weekly Cloud Chapter sessions.
Create and implement reusable automation for cloud platforms to be used by other teams designed to increase productivity.
Collaborate with colleagues to support and improve security, governance, architecture, systems, processes, standards, and tools.
Participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, and high availability in the cloud.
Act as a key stakeholder to explain and teach complex ideas to audiences with varying levels of understanding across:
Business
Architectures
Executives
