Job Purpose:


The digital marketing specialist is responsible for leading and managing various aspects of digital marketing campaigns across different platforms and channels to achieve business objectives.


The specialist works closely with the digital marketing lead, marketing team and external teams to ensure creative and strategic alignment, performance improvement, and budget efficiency.

Agency management for all digital campaigns as required. Actively supports ecommerce and online retailer specific digital marketing initiatives.

They also work with the BI team assisting with analytics, reporting, and tracking of conversions and insights.

In addition to monitoring and reporting on campaign performance, they will also support the business objectives and projects by exploring new opportunities and creating processes and systems to improve efficiencies within their role and in the digital marketing team.


They also handle the administrative tasks related to digital marketing, providing support in terms of insight generation from the market, competitors and campaign performance to assist with strategic direction and budgeting and any ad hoc business projects.


Minimum education (essential):

BCom Marketing Management or related Commerce degree


Minimum education (desirable):

Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Marketing Management or related
Course / Certificate in digital marketing


Minimum applicable experience (years):
5 years


Required nature of experience:


  • Business to Consumer marketing.
  • Experience in international markets.
  • Creating, monitoring & optimizing various digital campaigns on various platforms such as Facebook, Google, YouTube, ecommerce platforms, 3rd party remarketing platforms, etc.
  • Reporting and navigating GA
  • Analyzing and reporting on campaign data.
  • Set up and testing of goals and conversion tracking.

Skills and Knowledge (essential):


  • Digital platforms (i.e. Google Ads, Facebook, YouTube, ecommerce platforms, 3rd party remarketing platforms, etc).


  • GA

  • Thorough understanding of conversion tracking systems.
  • Digital target markets / audiences and campaign KPIs
  • Predict campaign performance, based on previous experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite or Google Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and crossfunctional communication skills
  • TV Streaming (desirable)
  • Google Tag Manager (desirable)
  • Experience in Marketing Cloud intelligence / Marketing automation (desirable)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R25 000,00 - R42 000,00 per month
