Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? Look no further We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team.

Duties and responsibilities


Responsibilities:

Assist with receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and organization.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Assisting with various tasks to maintain the day-to-day operations.

Receiving:
acquiring products in specified quantities at a warehouse facility

Putting away:
moving received products to optimal locations within a warehouse facility

Storing:
keeping products in their designated locations until shipping

Picking:
collecting stored products to fulfil customers' orders

Packing:
consolidating and preparing products in a customer's order

Shipping:
transporting a customer's order to a specified destination
Scanning product codes
Weighing products within orders
Confirming delivery addresses and postage costs
Printing and adhering shipping labels
Taking note of damaged or returned products
Using supply chain software to optimise operations
Helping to oversee other teams


Requirements:

Minimum two years of experience in a distribution centre environment.
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Fluent in Business English.
Availability to work shifts and weekends as required.
Proficient in computer skills (supply chain software)
Extreme attention to detail
Physical strength
