Where:
Hybrid, Johannesburg location preferred, and only applicants residing in South Africa will be considered.

Our offices are in Bryanston, the applicant will need to travel to the office from time to time.


We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to join our team at Loop, where you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing client relationships and driving marketing initiatives in the SaaS technology space.

Your responsibilities will involve building and maintaining strong client connections and crafting strategic account plans to maximise effectiveness and client satisfaction.

As an Account Manager, you'll have the opportunity to dive into various aspects from analysing performance metrics to collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on client initiatives and business objectives.

With a focus on customer success and retention, you'll proactively monitor client satisfaction, gather feedback, and make data-driven recommendations to optimise our marketing strategies.

This role offers a valuable opportunity for growth within a collaborative team environment.

You'll work closely with the Client Engagement Team leveraging the collective expertise of your colleagues while making meaningful contributions to the overall success of our client relationships.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Client Relationship Management:


Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and needs.


Strategic Account Planning:


Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with the overall company objectives and customer goals, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling our technical solutions.


Customer Success:


Proactively monitor client satisfaction, gather feedback, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer success and retention.


Performance Analysis:


Analyse account performance metrics data to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimise delivery operations.


Product Knowledge:


Maintain a deep understanding of our technical products, features, and capabilities to effectively communicate value propositions and address client needs.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:


Work closely with sales, product and other internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and alignment on client initiatives and business objectives.


Reporting and Documentation:


Prepare regular reports and documentation on account status and client interactions, providing insights and updates to internal stakeholders as needed.


Requirements and Skills:


  • 25 years experience in Account Management.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple different clients simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to problems.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw inferences from data.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster connections and build relationships.
  • Proactive and hardworking nature.
  • Ability to take guidance and direction from others.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others in crossfunctional teams.
