    CUSTOMER RETENTION STRATEGIES COORDINATOR

    Mukuru is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CRM Coordinator to join our Customer Experience team in Cape Town.

    This exciting role will focus on driving customer retention strategies through customer-centric touchpoint journeys, improving efficiencies, and reducing attrition in our business.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the CRM & Direct Marketing Manager and broader Customer Experience team to map out direct marketing campaigns across all direct channels.
    • Apply sound knowledge of customer segmentation to drive customer growth strategies.
    • Manage the customer direct marketing calendar and current campaigns.
    • Design and implement quality assurance for all work.
    • Create effective SMS copy.
    • Establish and manage campaigns.
    • E nsure timely communication in-line with the direct marketing calendar.
    • Assist with setting up and reporting on customer surveys.
    • Identify gaps in the communications journey and work with stakeholders to create new campaigns.
    • Analyze and report on various campaign objectives.
    • Liaise with the marketing team on outbound campaigns and briefing processes.
    • E nsure campaigns comply with best practices and legal requirements.
    • Maintain high accuracy and quality for all campaigns.
    • Monitor competitor activity.

    Key Requirements:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
    • Degree or relevant marketing qualification.
    • Minimum 1 year's experience in a CRM role.
    • Experience working on or developing customer lifecycle programs.
    • Experience with triggered communication and complex segmentation.
    • Experience with CRM tools and content management systems.
    • Advanced MS Office skills.
    • Strong understanding of data management and governance.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
    • Able to balance detail-oriented tasks with strategic thinking.
    • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
