    Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

    Summary:

    The Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for daily monitoring, investigation, and response to security events and alerts. They will also assist operations with creating firewall rules and managing user access.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Daily monitoring, investigation, and response to security events and alerts.
    • Assist operations with creating firewall rules and managing user access.
    • Operate and maintain anti-malware solutions across the environment.
    • Complete daily security controls in line with the ISO 27001 standard.
    • Analyse and complete risk assessments while collaborating with the team to address vulnerabilities.
    • Conduct penetration testing and assessments on new and existing systems to ensure optimal security across the environment.

    Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of key security technologies such as Active Directory, Anti-Virus, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Protection Systems, SIEM technologies, Office 365, and Azure.
    • Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, tools, techniques, and methods.
    • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure application development practices.
    • Experience in threat and risk-related assessments.
    • Knowledge of cloud computing systems and services.
    • Understanding of Microsoft operating systems, technologies, and cloud services.

    Desirable Skills:

    • Practical experience with Firewalls, SIEM/SOC.
    • Ability to demonstrate real-world skills in vulnerability remediation.
    • Strong networking knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in application security, software development, or IT security.

    Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per year.
