    Main Purpose:

    Deliver administrative, employee relations, and day-to-day HR support to the HR department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
    • Conduct yearly training needs analysis and evaluate return on investment.
    • Research and identify suitable training courses at various institutions.
    • Assist in implementing mandatory training and engage with managers to manage expectations and departmental training budgets.
    • Participate in grievance and disciplinary hearings by providing advice, counseling, and attending formal meetings.
    • Handle termination procedures, including paperwork and payroll documentation.
    • Maintain adherence to the Health and Safety Act and ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Review and update health and safety checklists and spreadsheets.

    Requirements:

    • Matric or equivalent certification.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in HR administration.
    • Diploma or degree in HR Management.
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Industrial Relations (IR).
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in training and development.

    Essential Skills:

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Deadline-driven and outcome-oriented.
