    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    As the Sales Operations Manager, your primary responsibility is to optimise and support sales functions across the Group opCos, driving process, channel, and operational efficiency to enhance revenue generation. You will oversee various aspects of sales operations, including sales initiatives, customer value management (CVM), segmentation support, value proposition creation support, channel optimisation, sales enablement programs, and the implementation of sales transformation frameworks and best practices. Your objective is to ensure seamless coordination among sales teams, product teams, marketing, finance, and other relevant departments to maximise revenue and marketshare. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining sales technologies and tools to boost productivity and achieve sales targets.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enablement: Equipping sales teams with essential tools and resources to excel, including training programs, collateral, and support materials, fostering effective customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Support: Provide guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and proactive problem-solving to ensure seamless sales operations and successful outcomes.
  • Co-ordination: Foster collaboration and alignment between sales teams, product teams, marketing, finance, and other departments involved in the sales process by facilitating communication, coordinating efforts, and aligning strategies to maximise revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
  • Implementation: Offer implementation support for sales transformation frameworks, enablement programs, technologies, and tools to facilitate the attainment of sales targets and business objectives.
  • The Ideal candidate for this role will have:

    Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • 5 -8 years' experience in sales operations and management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as an MBA will be preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in sales operations management.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to utilise sales data analysis tools and techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights for decision making.
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools and software.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools used for evaluating sales performance.
  • Understanding of sales process optimisation methodologies.
  • Experience in managing complex programs spanning multiple projects, across geographies.
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and as part of a high performance diverse team

  • Proven experience in sales operations and proficiency with CRM systems , Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, incl. customisation, administration, and reporting functionalities.
  • Demonstrated success in sales management with a consistent track record of driving sales performance and exceeding targets.
  • Strong industry knowledge, particularly within the telecommunications sector, including comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently across diverse geographical regions.
  • Ability to conveying complex concepts clearly and succinctly to varied audiences through verbal and written channels.
