Introduction

Duties & Responsibilities


Annual Plans


Defined Brand Equity and Activation Plan to Achieve the annual strategic Goals (SOM, Volume, Equity) for the allocated brands across the SEA cluster.

Together with the marketing Manager and Brand Manager develop a Detailed understanding of the SEA Markets portfolio, its consumers and competition, identifying growth potential and propose adapted and timely recommendations.


New Product Development
Responsible for projects, new launches and LEP's with in various markets across the portfolio. Complete the compilation of required documentation. Coordination with Internal and External Stakeholders with Market NPD GBS support and Brand Group. Manage and Monitor launches, analysing and making recommendations to improve global performance thresholds that are not being met.


Portfolio Initiatives and Brand Campaigns


Development of allocated portfolio and pricing initiatives inclusive of the marketing mix and ensure good commercial approach and understanding of consumer insights to deliver and provide feedback on portfolio initiatives.

Responsible for the development, execution, and follow-up of BTL brand communication campaigns into tangible brand initiatives and tools.

Collaborating with various stakeholders including Creative Agencies ensuring all brand communication is consistent, to strengthen brand equity and ensure alignment to brand positioning as defined by HQ Global Flagship Behaviours.


Cross Functional Collaboration


Effectively collaborate with global and local functions to support on the implementation of brand strategies and supporting initiatives across the SEA Cluster, ensuring brand and marketing guidelines and legislative frameworks are adhered to, when deploying assigned brand initiatives.


Monitor and Review Performance and Budgets
Monitor performance monthly and brand evaluation metrics against agreed KPI's, to identify key insights and opportunities within relevant markets.

Monitor and review allocated marketing spend vs initiative allocations and AP phasing on a monthly basis and report back to the Marketing Manager.


Supplier Management
Manage agency /supplier relationships on allocated projects, timelines, and related budgets. Brief compilations, reverts and internal approvals. Support the marketing team in the consolidation of annual performance assessments of agencies/suppliers.

Perform any other tasks required by the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director. (In preparation for Commercial Reviews, Brand Group and Regional Requests, including ASP.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric and Completed Tertiary Qualification (Marketing Related Diploma or Degree)
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant brand Marketing Experience in FMCG, Brand Management Experience, and Commercial Experience
  • Computer and Language: MS Office, Nielsen and IRI Knowledge
