    Description

    Senior Sales Manager

    In the insurance sector, a Senior Sales Manager is sought after to lead high-performing teams in achieving sales targets and maintaining quality standards.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Monitor team performance daily, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    2. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes collective problem-solving and encourages active debate during team meetings.
    3. Manage supervisors' performance, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet expectations.
    4. Contribute to strategic planning through data-driven insights and scorecard projects.
    5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective changes.
    6. Support and guide supervisors continuously, helping them to develop their skills and abilities.
    7. Motivate team members to achieve consistent performance by fostering a positive work culture.
    8. Oversee the performance management and disciplinary processes when necessary.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    1. A completed tertiary qualification is required.
    2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role are necessary.
    3. Prior Honours degrees in Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering are preferred.
    4. Highly developed process improvement and data analytics skills are essential.
    5. Effective leadership and people management skills are crucial, with previous experience being an advantage.
    6. Previous experience in Sales, Customer Service, or Operations is also beneficial.

    Job Requirements

    The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
