As a Buyer, you will optimize supplier relationships and effectively manage sales and margin to achieve our goals.

Are you a passionate individual with the following qualifications and experience?

Qualifications:

  • To be considered for this role, you should have a Matric certificate, with a Buying/Procurement/Business Diploma or degree being advantageous.

Professional Expertise:

Years Buying experience in the General Merchandise and/or
Years experience in Consumer Electronics Vendor/OEM Key Account Management and/or
Years' relevant Consumer Electronics Retail distribution experience


What will you be doing?

Merchandise Key Dials Optimization:

  • Track stretch rebate targets.
  • Monitor provisions.
  • Conduct range reviews.
  • Maintain service level targets.
  • Utilize BI tools.
  • Prepare range review document.

Sales and Gross Profits Optimization:

  • Achieve Sales and GP Budgets.
  • Utilize Sales and GP Balancing Matrix.

Supplier Relationships Optimization:

  • Enhance supplier relationships.
  • Manage trade agreements.
  • Provide supplier feedback.

Customer Service:

  • Foster Customer-Centric culture.
  • Manage customer relationships.
  • Communicate issues.
  • Conduct store visits.

Team Membership:

  • Uphold professional standards.
  • Conduct regular meetings.
  • Adhere to processes.

Marketing and Promotional Advertising:

  • Maximize promotional effectiveness.
  • Submit advertising briefs.
  • Monitor market dynamics.
  • Plan promotional space.
