Description

Job Title: Warehouse/Operations Manager

Located in Milnerton, Cape Town.

Negotiable salary offered.

Key Responsibilities:

Process orders, resolve stock issues with customer care and sales representatives, handle back orders, and coordinate with the debtors department on overdue accounts.
Submit daily cash-ups, reconcile petty cash, handle credit notes, manage monthly receipts, approve and submit invoices, and ensure bank deposits.
Manage daily operations including receiving, storage, and distribution, plan staffing, workflows, and space requirements to meet productivity standards, conduct quarterly stock takes, manage non-conforming stock, and investigate discrepancies.
Train and lead warehouse teams to solve operational issues and ensure efficient performance.
Oversee security, maintenance, repairs, staff leave, and overtime. Assist walk-in clients, manage office supplies, and cover for Warehouse assistants when absent.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse/operations management.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in inventory management and order processing systems.
Valid driver's license, ability to work under pressure, good communication skills, and a forklift license is advantageous.
