    **Job Title: Production Supervisor**

    Location: East London

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

     

    About the Role:

    As a Production Supervisor at our client's press shop department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets the required quality standards.

    You will lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with experience in a manufacturing environment. They will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team to achieve high-quality results.

    Key Responsibilities:**

    • Oversee the daily operations of the press shop department, ensuring production meets quality and productivity standards.
    • Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement.
    • Monitor and analyze production data to inform decision-making and drive business growth.

    Requirements:**

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., production management, engineering).
    • At least 3-5 years' experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of IATF quality systems and regulations.
