Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team.

The purpose of the IT Manager role is to ensure the effective and secure operations of AME and its subsidiaries, United Stations, MH360 and Moneyweb, Information Technology Systems.

This includes providing leadership to the IT team, managing infrastructure, and aligning technology initiatives with the overall business strategy.


  • Role Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Leading and managing the IT consultants and assigning tasks. Overseeing the daytoday operations of the IT department to ensure the reliability and efficiency of systems and services.
  • Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the maintenance and development of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware.
  • Security: Implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard the organization's systems and data from potential threats.
  • Project Management: Planning and executing IT projects, from system upgrades to the implementation of new technologies.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborating with external vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of services meets the organisation's standards and implementing beneficial SLA's and pricing
  • Strategic Planning: Contributing to the development of the organization's overall business strategy and ensuring that the IT strategy aligns with it.
  • User Support: Providing support and troubleshooting for employees experiencing IT issues, ensuring mínimal disruptions to operations.

1. Experience and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+ and Network, ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (Knowledge of CCNA is advantageous but not mandatory).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a managerial or directorial position.
  • Experience in the media industry (broadcasting) IT field is a key requirement.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problemsolving skills.
