Description

A leading successful renewable energy developer is seeking to hire a Senior Permitting Manager for their growing team in Cape Town.

In particular, you would take the lead permitting role on more advanced projects, particularly those that have been awarded preferred bidder (either in a DMRE programme, e.g. REIPPP, or to a private off taker), to achieve FC

Minimum Requirements and Experience:

3 year + Tertiary degree or diploma (or similar) in a relevant field (e.g. science, environmental, town planning, project management, project development).
6 years + of project development and land and/or environmental experience within the renewable energy sector
Proven experience of successfully managing multiple projects within budget and on schedule.
Experience and Knowledge of the South African renewable energy industry (particularly large scale wind and solar).
Proven ability to speak and write fluently in English.
Possession of a valid, South Africa Code 08 driver's license.
