HEAD OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - SANDTON


Our client is an International Mining House where an opportunity exists for a dedicated, hardworking, and enthusiastic and results driven individual to join their finance team.

They are offering a rewarding and exciting opportunity within the Mine Planning space for an experienced individual with a proven track record in the category
of Head of Accounts Payable within the company


PURPOSE OF THE JOB

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:


  • Monitoring and management of GRIR and AP Ageing account
  • Monthly reporting on AP activity
  • Review and approval of payment runs
  • Review and approval of monthly creditors reconciliations
  • Cashflow submissions to Treasury on a monthly basis
  • Vendor management
  • Management of AP team
  • Submission of documents to external and internal auditors
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • B COM Honours Accounting / Finance & CIMA
  • At least 5 years managerial experience
  • SAP experience
  • Accounts payable/procure to pay knowledge
  • Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness

REMUNERATION

  • Will be according to qualifications and experience and will include competitive conditions of employment. Salary will be market related
