Job Title: Pharmacist Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pharmacist Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services, performing day-to-day dispensary administration, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Provide high standards of customer service and care, addressing customers' queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Stock Control and Administration: Efficiently manage stock levels, perform repacking of medicine, and maintain accurate records according to company SOPs.
3. Dispensary Administration: Perform daily tasks, including processing prescriptions, answering phone calls, and responding to customer inquiries.
4. Health Advice: Provide general health advice to customers, promoting healthy living and wellness.
5. Housekeeping and Merchandise Display: Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display, ensuring the store appears clean, tidy, and visually appealing.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Matric with Maths (Essential) and minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic).
2. Skills and Abilities: Product knowledge (Health isle and OTC), SAPC and relevant legal knowledge, customer service orientated, team player, integrity, ethical working practice and compliance, accuracy and attention to detail, basic calculations, IT Business Operating Systems, MS Office, adhering to Principles and Values, Working with People, Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations, Following Instructions and Procedures, Relating and Networking, Planning and Organising.
