Valor Hospitality Partners, a leading hotel management company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team.

Detail:

Responsibilities:

Conduct compliance and risk audits of various hotel and lodge properties within the group.
Provide assurance and advice to management based on audit findings to improve corporate governance.
Identify areas of noncompliance with legislation and policy and control weaknesses in finance, administration, health and safety, policies, etc.
Develop audit strategies taking into account availability of resources, knowledge of operations, and the work of internal and external audit assurance providers.
Create and implement audit plans and develop audit tools to suit various circumstances, as well as write articulate and meaningful reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
South African ID holder.
Proven working experience within hotels in a similar role.
Willingness to travel to various hotel and lodge properties within the group.
Ability to assess, evaluate, and determine business needs and establish and implement processes to meet them, ensuring not only fulfilled departmental objectives but also sustained improvement and subsequent profitability.
Analytical, problemsolving, and forwardthinking manner of working that is effective in providing results.
Ability to successfully work in both team and independent environments performing compliance and risk audits.
Proficiency in creating and implementing audit plans and developing audit tools to suit various circumstances, as well as writing articulate and meaningful reports.
Ability to develop audit strategies taking into account availability of resources, knowledge of operations, and the work of internal and external audit assurance providers.
