    Our Client is a leading electronic recycling company committed to sustainable and responsible e-waste management. With a focus on environmental conservation and ethical practices, we strive to provide cutting-edge solutions for the recycling and disposal of electronic waste.

    Position: Boilermaker

    Location: Pomona Kempton Park

    Job Type: Full-time

    Responsibilities:

    Fabrication and Welding:

    • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering specifications.
    • Utilise welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to join metals with precision.

    Repair and Maintenance:

    • Conduct repairs and maintenance on metal equipment, machinery, and structures.
    • Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential issues.

    Blueprint Interpretation:

    • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and other specifications.
    • Ensure accurate measurements and alignment of components during fabrication and repairs.

    Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
    • Implement safety measures during fabrication, welding, and other job-related tasks.

    Material Selection:

    • Select appropriate materials for fabrication and repairs based on project requirements.
    • Manage and organise an inventory of materials and tools.

    Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with other team members, including engineers and maintenance personnel.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors to provide progress updates and discuss project specifications.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar metal fabrication role.
    • Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job.

    Certifications:

    • Relevant certifications in metal fabrication and welding are preferred.
    • Experience with gates, staircases and carports
