    Job Title: WiL Specialist: IT Infrastructure

    Job Grade: S5

    Group/Business Unit: Corporate

    Division: CIO

    Span of Control: 0-5

    Reports to: Senior Management

    Core Description

    Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networks, and other critical IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security. The role also involves supporting the CIO in the IT transformation process and providing leadership to align all IT infrastructure initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's needs.
    • Manage and maintain servers, networks, and other critical IT systems.
    • Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's IT infrastructure.
    • Support the CIO in the IT transformation process.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the IT infrastructure team.
    • Conduct regular assessments of the IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure processes and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
    • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT infrastructure.
    • Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.

    Additional Information

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Qualification in Computer Science or Engineering, or Information Technology.
    • Experience in an IT Infrastructure role including cloud and experience in IT and/or Telecommunications environment.

    Special Requirements:

    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure design and implementation.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
