Front Office Duty Manager positions have opened up for our clients 5 star properties.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 1
  • Hospitality Qualification (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of OPERA
  • Previous experience in the same or similar position
  • Familiar with duties and procedures in the selfcatering apartments and/ or Airbnb
  • Own reliable transport
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand English at a professional level

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Front Desk:


  • Introduceand maintain the most efficient checkin/out procedures.
  • To ensure that reservations are taken correctly and courteously.
  • Ensure guests are greeted, checked in to allocated rooms promptly and courteously
  • Ensure credit control procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • To ensure that accounts are balanced daily.
  • Manage the arrival and departure turnover.
  • Ensure collection and delivery of luggage to the apartments is done efficiently.
  • Daily spot checks of suites and rooms to ensure 5 star standards.

Communication:


  • To ensure effective liaison between reservations and front office staff with other departments.
  • Ensuring that all staff members are aware of all activities
  • Ensure accurate and timeous submission of all reports and administrative work.
  • To attend all management meetings as required.

Guest relations:


  • Readily available at all times to deal with problems or complaints.
  • Tend to and arrange for guest needs.
  • To monitor trends within the industry and make suggestions how these could be implemented.

Salary:
From R12,000.00 per month
