Description
We are in looking for a young, highly presentable, confident, energetic and independent Assistant Restaurant Manager at one of South Africa's leading wine producers' wine bar and Eatery in the heart of Stellenbosch.
Minimum 1 year Assistant Managerial experience in the Wine and Restaurant industry (FOH and BOH) required. Formal Hospitality/Wine degree/diploma or tasting room experience preferable. Must have excellent communication skills and have experience managing a team and coordinating kitchen and front of house personnel.Minimum requirements:
- Grade 1
- Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage (Degree, Certificate, Diploma)
- Minimum 1year previous restaurant assistant management experience.
- Fluent in English or Afrikaans (Oral and written)
- Both preferable.
- Strong Administrative skills.
- Computer literate: Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Lightspeed (Ikentoo) POS backend.
- Well groomed
- Accountable
- Strong Conflict resolution skills.
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable Transport
- Live in or near Stellenbosch.
