Description

We are in looking for a young, highly presentable, confident, energetic and independent Assistant Restaurant Manager at one of South Africa's leading wine producers' wine bar and Eatery in the heart of Stellenbosch.

Minimum 1 year Assistant Managerial experience in the Wine and Restaurant industry (FOH and BOH) required. Formal Hospitality/Wine degree/diploma or tasting room experience preferable. Must have excellent communication skills and have experience managing a team and coordinating kitchen and front of house personnel.


Minimum requirements:

• Grade 1
• Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage (Degree, Certificate, Diploma)
• Minimum 1year previous restaurant assistant management experience.
• Fluent in English or Afrikaans (Oral and written)
• Both preferable.
• Strong Administrative skills.
• Computer literate: Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Lightspeed (Ikentoo) POS backend.
• Well groomed
• Accountable
• Strong Conflict resolution skills.
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable Transport
• Live in or near Stellenbosch.
