Our client is urgently seeking
_ _a trade-tested and experienced
ELECTRICIAN for a well-established electrical company based in Stellenbosch.
Residential experience essential.

Responsibilities:

Assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Installation of electrical boxes, DB Boards, other enclosures, conduits (pipes, tubing, trunking), ground leads and connecting of power to different equipment/machinery.
Wiring of circuit breakers, transformers and electrical equipment.
Performing maintenance and identifying maintenance requirements on electrical equipment.
Fault finding.
Ensuring that preventative maintenance is executed according to schedule.
Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Performing adhoc duties.
Reading and understanding electrical drawings.
Commercial and industrial electrical installation services (threephase and singlephase).
Power continuity.
Must adhere to the relevant electrical codes, procedures & safety policies.

Qualifications:

-
Residential Electrical experience critical

Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Certification (NQF Level 4).
Trade Tested / Red Seal both single

- and three-phase.

Minimum of 2 years posttrade experience.
No criminal record.
Valid unendorsed driver's license.
Wireman's license will be an advantage.

Competencies:

Positive energy and mindset.
Proficient in both English and Afrikaans.
Computer literate in MS Office.
Full understanding of SANS Wiring of Premises).

Able to meet deadlines of highpressure projects.
Traceable, working knowledge and experience in the renewable energy field. (Inverters, Solar, etc.).

This position will require overtime work from time to time.
