Project Technician Permanent JHB000371 Engineering and Technical KwaZulu Natal, Pietermaritzburg R R25000 Our client in the Automotive Manufacturing industry is seeking two Project Technicians to join their team in Pietermaritzburg Basic Function:
Assist Project Engineer in the delivery of new projects from project Kick Off up to production stage.

Project Management

Process Design & Implementation

Innovation of Current Manufacturing Methods

Problem Solving & Investigation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management**:
Create and track timing plans for overall scope and individual activities.

Assist Project Engineer in ensuring milestones are achieved on time.

Compile reports.

Follow customer APQP processes.

Basic Computer skills

Office 365

Excel

MS Teams

Process Design:

Implementation of new processes

Aid the Project Engineer with developing & trouble shooting new processes.

Process Documentation

Process Instructions

Setting Parameters & Maintenance Checklists

Product Design:

Fabricate prototypes.

Assist in field testing and demos.

Simulation testing

Innovation of Current Manufacturing Methods:

Improve current processes to improve quality, efficiency & scrap.

Problem Solving & Investigation:

Assist Project Engineer in conducting detailed investigations to support Quality with regards to field failures

Conduct detailed investigations into manufacturing problems

Required Experience and Qualifications:

N Dip / B-tech Mech Eng or relevant technical experience

Beneficial Experience and Qualifications:

Core Tools 1

Design & drawing experience (CAD)

Problem Solving Course / Skills

Project Management Certification
