  • Preferred inoffice at our client's offices in Sandton, Johannesburg.

About this role:


Our client's Global Sales team is hiring a Senior Channel Manager to create, manage and nurture relationships with key software vendors in our client's CX business (Customer Experience).

Through this new role, our client's vision is to build technology partnerships which will create an important recurring revenue channel.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in a technical field such as Business, Computer Science or Engineering. A postgraduate management degree such as PDM or MBA is an advantage.
  • 5+ years' experience in enterprise sales and/or related experience.
  • Experience with preparing documents and presentations for RFIs/RFPs.
  • Preferred previous experience managing partnerships with software vendors e.g., for a software consultancy.

Skills

  • Technologically proficient and familiar with the fundamental value propositions of major software categories such as: CRM, ERP, Telephony, Omni-Channel, BI (Business Intelligence) and Analytics, LMS (Learning Management System), KMS (Knowledge Management System), ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • A quick learner who can rapidly understand the value proposition of a new product and where it fits into our business.
  • Ability to understand commercial agreements and negotiate terms with partners. Expert presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify relevant technology vendors in the CX landscape and register our clients in partner programs.
  • Negotiate and secure commercial agreements with a network of technology vendors to
  • Establish our client's credibility as a trusted provider of outsourced CX services with technology partners.
  • Build trusted relationships to the point where technology partners are referring their clients to our client for outsourced CX campaigns.
  • Work alongside the global sales team on opportunities referred to our client by technology partners to ensure partner relationships are maintained and improved through the sales process.
  • Manage partner revenue share and incentive programs to ensure payments are made on time and in adherence to commercial terms established with technology partners.
