• Current registration as a Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
• Paid up SAPC annual fees and Indemnity Insurance fees
• Computer literacy and experience in working with MS Office packages

• Experience in a hospital or local authority setting in dispensing aseptic preparation of pharmaceutical injectable agents.
• Experience in using aseptic technique to prepare sterile preparations
• Ability to provide medication adherence counselling
• Attention to detail, with strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, without direct supervision and fit in well within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to organize and manage multiple daily priorities

• Manage an oncology clinic pharmacy and ensure all activities are conducted and compliant to all legal standards.
• Dispense, mix chemotherapy as well as account for all medication in the pharmacy which includes but not limited to conducting regular stock takes.
• Timeous procurement of all chemotherapy drugs, consumables and other nonchemotherapy drugs.
• Undertake QA/QC activities to prepare for audit visits and maintain quality standards in the pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmacy infrastructure and equipment are adequately maintained and timeously serviced.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance to all regulatory requirements
• Timeous aseptic preparation and dispensing of Chemotherapy drugs
• Participate in CPD as well as any other trainings that maybe arranged by the oncologist or practice manager.
• Any other duties that may be allocated to you by the Oncologist
