    The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for building and managing the sales business function across Sub-Saharan Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Sales Performance Improvement: Enhance the performance of existing sales channels while activating new ones to drive growth.
    • Effective Sales Operating Model: Develop and execute a sales operating model that fosters efficiency and productivity.
    • Sales Team Leadership: Grow and lead high-performance sales teams across various sales channels, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
    • Revenue Growth and Commercial Metrics: Achieve revenue and contract value targets while managing key commercial metrics such as contribution margin, EBIT, and cash flow.
    • Executive Committee Membership: Serve on the Executive Committee, reporting directly to the CEO and contributing strategic insights.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • IT Software Solutions Sales Expertise: Possess 10 years of experience in IT software solutions sales, with expertise in SaaS and sales negotiations.
    • Strategic and Lateral Thinking: Demonstrate strong abilities in both strategic and lateral thinking, backed by a proven track record in B2B sales.
    • Growth Management: Experience managing growth in partnership with sales teams and channels, driving expansion and improvement.
    • Presentation and Negotiation Skills: Exhibit excellent presentation skills and comfort negotiating complex sales at the C-Level.
    • Sub-Saharan Africa Experience: Sub-Saharan Africa experience in digital solutions, especially within public enterprises and multinational corporate environments.
    • Qualifications: Hold a tertiary qualification in science or commerce.
    • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively across Africa for channel and customer engagements.
