    Responsibilities:

    • Promote a helpful and professional image to guests and colleagues
    • Anticipate and meet guests' needs to enhance quality service and customer satisfaction
    • Maintain regular communication with the team and attend hotel meetings as required
    • Develop and maintain quality training and coaching to ensure consistent delivery of product service standards
    • Manage colleague recruitment, scheduling, and planning of departmental rosters and training schedules
    • Assist in creating an environment that promotes colleague morale and encourages employees to take pride in their department
    • Appraise colleagues regularly and address development needs to maximize areas of strength
    • Deliver hotel products and Departmental Service Standards, and positively promote sales awareness with the Department
    • Help control operating costs within the standards set by the Departmental Managers
    • Identify and report hazards and maintenance requirements in the workplace and follow through with your Department Manager
    • Comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health, and safety
    • Evaluate colleague performance and provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed
    • Control department forms and records according to Fairmont standards for Document Control
