Fire Service Technician - Saldanha, South Africa - Resilience Personnel
Description
This is a 6 month probation contract for a permanent position located in Saldanha Bay for a fire service technician.
- The Fire Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing of fire extinguishers and liaising with cliental.
- Ensuring compliance with the fire safety regulations.
- The Fire Service Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting fire safety systems and providing recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
- Registered SAQCC 1475 Technician
- Minimum of 4 years experience of which 2 years in Marine in fire extinguisher installation, maintenance and repair
- Drivers License
- Understanding of fire & safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
- Ability to work hand in hand with power tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
