We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller, or Comptroller, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures within the Gaming and Hospitality Industry.

Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Assume responsibility for the whole spectrum of Finance Management, which includes but is not limited to budgeting, forecasting, year end preparation, income statement preparation and review, balance sheet accounts, journals and internal control in the Casino, Emporium, Rooms Food & Beverage and other support departments.

  • Manage the allocated departments and develop policies and procedures to improve the basic control environment.
  • Manage various disciplines in the Finance Department, including fixed assets, creditors, debtors, revenue control and cashbook.
  • Maintain / Improve budgeted cost percentages and budgeted operating expenses.
  • Attend Financial & Operation reviews.
  • Identify and coordinate staff training needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • 2 to 3 years Financial Management experience in similar Industry required;
  • Must have B Com Accounting;
  • Experience in Accpac would be an added advantage
  • Ability to compile books to Balance Sheet and Annual Financial Statement level;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Must have proven leadership abilities.
  • Must have a strong training background.
  • Must be excellent in cost controlling and cost management skills.
  • Must have good customer relations
