Job Description:


  • The Cash management admin ensures effective service delivery to the Business Units against predefined criteria generally referred to as Key Performance Indicators as defined in Service Level Agreements with various Business Units.

More of your duties will include:

  • Investigate and action rejected and unpaid payments
  • Ensure vendor reconciliation open items are not older than 30 days
  • Investigate residual open line items
  • Follow up on queries sent by stakeholders
  • Accurate and timeous clearing of all matching open line items
  • Zero overdue values on all bank related accounts as per various account timelines
  • Complete monthly subledger reconciliations
  • Perform vendor reconciliations, escalate and followup on any unreconciling items. Ensure alignment with the reconciliation policy
  • Source vendor statements
  • Maintain the vendor details on BEST SAP Master Data
  • Perform testing for new projects and changes which take place with the environment.
  • Share all reconciliations with the relevant business unit for review and maintain evidence of the review as part of the JSE compliance

This role is at a Band 8 level reporting to the Cash Management & Vendor Recons Supervisor

  • Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification Degree/Diploma with specialization in Financial Accounting

  • 12 years recons
  • 12 years vendor recons
