Seeking a Fabrication Workshop Manager for a large Steel Processing Business \ R35k to 45k pm neg \ Must speak Afrikaans & English \ Based in Crown Mines (south of JHB CBD) \ Open to All_
An industry leading, well-established steel processing business is seeking a
Workshop Manager for its Steel Fabrication team. Strong Quality Assurance skills are required. This important role reports into the Group Workshop Manager who, in turn, reports into the Managing Director.

Duties and Responsibilities_

• Lead and manage the Fabrication staff (30 to 40 staff)
• Be responsible for effecting quality control, for example: improving the QMS, implementing requirements for ISO compliance, running Quality audits and updating Quality policies and procedures
• Oversee production KPI's and continuous improvement
• Ensure consistent on time delivery and minimise overtime

Desired Experience and Qualifications:_

• Ideally a B Tech in Quality, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• Must have experience in Fabrication and have been a Foreman
• Must have led a team of 15 staff or more
• Must have knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance methodologies, ideally ISO 9001and QMS auditing experience
• Must be Afrikaans and English speaking (this will be checked in the interview)
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office
• Proven problem solving and management skills
• Experience in production optimisation

Package and Remuneration_

• R35,000 to R45,000 cost to company per month dependent on experience and qualifications
• Eligible for annual performance bonus 13th cheque
• Cost to company will have a standard Provident Fund and voluntary Medical Aid deduction

Salary:
R35 000,00 - R45 000,00 per month
