A well-established water treatment solutions company in Johannesburg, has a permanent position available for a Site Technician based in Secunda (Mpumalanga). This position will require a minimum of 1 years (post trade qualification) and relevant experience. The s
ite technician will be responsible to assist with technical support and assistance to the sales staff and clients.

Requirements:
  • Matric (Gr12)
  • Mechanical or electrical trade qualification
  • Minimum 1 years' experience of site work in water treatment.
  • Must reside in Secunda
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Advanced MS Office and Excel skills
  • Expert communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exercise a high degree of selfdiscipline and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrative initiative
  • A clear credit and criminal record to access site

Duties:


  • Assist with deliveries.
  • To support sales staff in the Secunda area with all chemical and equipment needs.
  • To build good relationships with clients and know site specific requirements.
  • To manage and fix all equipment on sites.
  • Assist with lab with sampling, analysis and reporting.
  • To ensure performance reaches and exceeds requirements agreed to in the Service Level Agreement with the client.
  • Ensure all sitespecific requirements are adhere to and keep safety file up to date.
  • To assist in inventory management, analysis, and trials.
  • Daily housekeeping and keep dosing areas neat and tidy.
  • Support staff and customers with regards to RW requirements.
  • Support with all dosing requirements and deliveries.
  • Problem solving with a strong technical background.
  • Foster strong relationships will all key personnel with clients.
  • Follow up on the procurement of purchase orders for each month's service well in advance to allow for planning and completion of the service within the following month.
  • Keeping SHERQ aspects in order and support in all safety requirements.
  • Assist staff in the planning of service/sales visits to ensure completion of all contractual servicing before 25th of each month.
