Description

The main purpose:

To ensure that the property of the CTICC building is suitably maintained to a five star standard and looked after on a daily basis.

Provide and/or ensure that there is suitable and appropriate planned, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance.


Reporting to the:
Maintenance Manager


Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Executes repairs and renovations to interior/exterior surfaces fixtures and fittings
  • Painting and tiling repairs including doors locks and door repairs
  • Attending to the completion of procedural instructional/transactional forms/documentation
  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of property including but not limited to: Painting, tiling, cleaning of gutters and general maintenance repairs
  • Maintenance activities undertaken and completed at specific areas
  • Data recording for fault diagnosis, corrective and preventive maintenance, condition monitoring
  • As required perform general maintenance tasks and perform tasks other than maintenance duties to appropriately lead and transfer skills to junior colleagues
  • Ensuring that all relevant job cards is completed and checked daily
  • Identify all maintenance concerns and provide the Line Manager with regular written and/or verbal feedback as required
  • Assist in the preparation of risk assessments and method statements, health and safety inspections and documentation, as well as quality or environmental output as may be required from time to time
  • Respond to emergency calls when directed by employer or office staff

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:


  • Matric or equivalent
  • Building Trade certificate
  • 57 years' experience in a corporate maintenance environment
  • Driver's License essential

Must be able to work abnormal hours (weekends and public holidays).
