We are looking to hire a Sales Team Leader to join Enchanting Travels in Cape Town as a member of our Germany sales management team to help deliver on our company's ambitious growth plans

The Sales Team Leader will report to the Senior Sales Manager for Germany and will be responsible for driving sales for a team of up to 3 Travel Sales Specialists, as well as contributing with your own sales.

This role is perfect for either an established Sales Team Leader or Manager looking for a new challenge in an exciting industry, or alternately if you are an experienced Travel Sales Consultant looking to take that next step in leading a small team whilst still achieving your own sales then this could be a great opportunity for you

What you will be doing:


  • Actively manage and support a sales team of up to 3 team members to achieve their sales goals
  • Develop and mentor existing team members on sales and analytical skills to improve their performance
  • Contribute with your own sales towards team targets, maximising your B2C sales capability
  • Conduct effective team meetings and sales blitzes to ensure high motivation and knowledge sharing between team members
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices within and across other sales teams
  • Set goals and priorities for each team member in line with the company goals, track activities and team performance on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

What we are looking for:


  • Fluency in the German language both written and verbal
  • A track record of successfully managing a sales team with excellent sales results in a B2C environment or a successful travel sales consultant looking to expand their experience with people management and leading a team
  • Experience using a consultative sales methodology
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Commercial savvy and a sales mentality
  • Ability to empower people to achieve great results
  • Comfort to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and agility
  • Personal accountability to make things happen and to ensure results
  • Flexibility and resilience, ability to bounce back from setbacks and have a "positive" attitude to life
