    Job Title: Risk Execution Frameworks and Standards Specialist

    Business Segment: Personal & Private Banking

    The successful candidate will drive the implementation of risk execution frameworks and standards for an allocated portfolio within PPB, ensuring adherence to key, critical risk, compliance and regulatory controls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess and perform physical sample testing on key critical risk, compliance and regulatory controls to detect gaps, emerging risks, breaches and trends in the daily execution of risk and control monitoring.
    • Conduct effectiveness assessments, operational effectiveness testing and control effectiveness assessments, providing feedback where required.
    • Ensure operational capability in frontline and drive adoption and usage of management tools, monitoring alignment to regulatory requirements.
    • Provide analysis and reporting, recommending remediation where required, and ensure proper record keeping.

    Requirements:

    Analytical mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or business administration.

    Minimum 5-7 years experience in regulatory and risk requirements within PPB, with experience in branch banking and local market matters.

    Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

    Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
