    To play a pivotal role in evaluating and presenting applications for funding, ensuring they align with SBU objectives and contribute to industry development goals.

    This involves performing complex financial and technical due diligence functions, leading due diligence teams, and identifying and mitigating risks associated with transactions.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum qualification: relevant Honours Degree or equivalent qualification in a commercial or technical field.

    KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    8-10 years of experience, including 8 years in deal assessment and transaction closing. Proven competence in three due diligence disciplines (Marketing, Technical, or Financial). Experience in the Renewable Energy sector is mandatory.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    Financial / Shareholder Returns

    Evaluate and structure transactions using IDC financing instruments, ensuring financial soundness of credit submissions.

    Internal / Operational Processes

    Evaluate finance applications, perform due diligence, and lead teams on high-value transactions. Ensure deals align with strategic objectives and drive industry development goals.

    CUSTOMER FOCUS STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

    Effectively interact with various departments and SBUs to fulfill deal requirements and provide client service excellence.

    LEARNING, LEADERSHIP PEOPLE GROWTH

    Provide team leadership during due diligence, manage personal development, and participate in knowledge sharing across the organization.

    TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

    Financial acumen, risk identification, investment management, stakeholder management, planning, and report writing skills.

    BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

    Presentation, negotiation, relationship building, persuasion, coaching, and leadership skills.
