    Description

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to manage the lifecycle of operating systems and Ansible Automation Platform. Key responsibilities include performing housekeeping monitoring managing the Ansible Automation Platform with a focus on stability performance and cost optimization.

    This is a 3-year fixed contract with the option for renewal working in a hybrid model.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create operate and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
    • Perform operating system and Ansible Automation Platform lifecycle management
    • Collaborate with Enterprise GitHub for version control and Git branching strategy
    • Track update Jira user stories to ensure timely completion
    • Ensure system stability and adherence to Group Operations standards
    • Maintain accurate up-to-date knowledge base content for the sub-product
    • Ensure quality accuracy of Sub-Product compliance documentation
    • Perform routine maintenance monitoring of the Ansible Automation Platform focusing on stability performance and cost optimization
    • Manage Problem Incident Change processes for dedicated ITSM service
    • Be available for standby work including weekends if required
    • Keep documentation current in relevant systems CMDB Application Instance Wizard Connect IT knowledge database resolveIT
    • Attend moderate operation meetings
    • Identify mitigate security vulnerabilities

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
    • Proven experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform or Ansible Tower AWX
    • Strong expertise in Linux RHEL Ubuntu SLES
    • Coding scripting skills Bash PowerShell etc advantageous
    • Experience with Cloud Technologies AWS Azure
    • Familiarity with Red Hat Satellite advantageous
    • Linux certification such as RHCSA advantageous
    • ITIL certification advantageous
    • Minimum 2 years of configuration management automation experience
    • Minimum 2 years of ITIL work experience
    • Minimum 2 years of Scrum work experience
    • Minimum 2 years of operating system administration experience

    Essential Skills

    • Proficiency in Confluence Jira Bitbucket GitHub
    • Knowledge of Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform or Ansible Tower
    • Familiarity with Agile Working Model framework
    • Basic understanding of Virtualisation technologies VMWare
    • Basic knowledge of Private Cloud solutions
    • Basic knowledge of Windows Server
    • Basic knowledge of Dynatrace
    • Basic knowledge of Splunk
    • Basic knowledge of containerization technologies podman Docker Kubernetes OpenShift
    • Basic knowledge of Directory Access Manager DIVA
    • Basic knowledge of Intelligent Storage Orchestration Environment iStore Active Directory Gruppentool ADGR
    • Basic knowledge of ITIL ITSM Problem-Incident-Change processes
    • Basic knowledge of ITSM Suite
    • Additional skills may be assigned in the Agile Working Model AWM Charter
